Meet Phebe

Mrs. Sharron Murphy-Williams is the Founder and current Executive Director of The Phe’be Foundation. She has over 25 years’ experience in the credit/ debt management and homebuyer education industries. She began her career with Dun & Bradstreet prior to becoming a highly successful Independent Credit Counselling Specialist in the Greater Cleveland Area. Sharron is now working on a book “The Only Rules” while continuing the fight against Financial Illiteracy. She has implemented and developed innovative programs – some of which have proven to be models for local banking institutions, curriculums and agencies --which enhanced housing and economic empowerment opportunities for residents and the community.  Her experience details a dynamic leader with a proven track record in behavioral change, program integrity, operational effectiveness and ability to produce movement toward the end of eradicating generational poverty.

 

Mrs. Murphy-Williams has been featured in headlines such as Essence Magazine, Ebony and on BET as well, recognized by Kaleidoscope Magazine, The Plain Dealer, Call & Post, Cleveland Board of Education, The City of Cleveland and countless others for the work she has done in the community as it pertains to financial empowerment.

In addition to serving as leader of The Phe’be Foundation, Sharron Murphy-Williams gives back to her community by serving as a member of several civic and professional organizations including The National Association of Female Executives, Cleveland Metropolitan Schools, Department of Aging, Rotary International, United Black Fund (UBF), Founding Member of Society of Urban Professional (S.O.U.P.) and the Predatory Lending Task Force.
